OLAS X LOST PALMS COLLABORATION

A collaboration beer has always been a major goal for us here at Olas Supply Co, so partnering with local legends Lost Palms Brewing Co was a no brainer.

ABOUT LOST PALMS BREWING CO.

Serving Gold Coast locals icy cold beers since 2017, Lost Palms Brewing Co has become a household name. Located just moments from the beach, the iconic pink brewery is the perfect spot to catch up over a brew. With so many amazing craft beers to choose from, there is something that will suit everyones palette.

ABOUT THE COLLABORATION

We wanted to create a beer that screamed Summer! Think something fresh, tropical and fruity, but still had that classic beer taste. The team at Lost Palms took this brief to a new level and coined the concept of a Tropical Lager. I mean, who doesn't love a lager?

Next up was the design! After coming up with the taste and flavour palette, we drafted up quite a few ideas for the can design. We wanted to merge our love for the humble kangaroo and koala, as well as tying in an ode to our hometown of the Gold Coast.

We wanted to sell the idea of kicking back and relaxing while on holiday, hence the name Vacay Lager. So two Aussie animals relaxing on a deserted island with just their beers, boards and the waves seemed like the perfect design. You will also see a little cameo of the famous Burleigh Hill pictured on the can, which ties it all together. We also had to tie in the iconic Lost Palms pink of course!
